About the role

The Cashier cum Barista plays a dual role in ensuring smooth café operations . You will be the first point of contact for customers, handling orders and payments with accuracy and friendliness, while also preparing quality beverages and light food items. This position requires balancing customer service with operational efficiency, making it ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced, people-oriented environment.

What You Will Do

• Customer service: Welcome customers, take orders, and provide excellent service.
• Cash handling: Operate POS system, process transactions, and manage cash balancing.
• Beverage preparation: Prepare coffee, tea, and specialty drinks to company standards.
• Food service: Assist in serving pastries and café menu items.
• Cleanliness: Maintain hygiene at cashier counter, barista station, and seating areas.
• Team support: Work closely with kitchen and café staff to ensure smooth operations.

Who We Are Looking For

• Work experience: Prior cashier or barista experience preferred.
• Communication skills: Clear, friendly, and professional interaction with customers.
• Numerical accuracy: Strong attention to detail in handling cash and transactions
• Flexibility to work shift hours, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Possess a valid Typhoid vaccination and Food Handling Certificate (or willing to obtain them upon hiring).
