The Project Engineer (ACMV) supports the execution and delivery of ACMV construction projects.
Role & Responsibilities
Manage the execution of ACMV construction projects from site implementation through to project completion.
Coordinate and supervise daily site activities to ensure works are carried out in accordance with project schedules, specifications, quality standards and safety requirements.
Liaise with clients, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors and suppliers on technical and project-related matters.
Review and coordinate shop drawings, construction drawings, technical submissions and material approvals.
Monitor project progress, identify potential issues and implement timely corrective actions to minimise delays.
Plan and coordinate manpower, materials, equipment and subcontractor activities to support project execution.
Attend site inspections and project coordination meetings, and ensure timely follow-up of outstanding action items.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, method statements, material submissions and inspection records.
Oversee testing and commissioning activities, defect rectification and project handover.
Prepare and coordinate the submission of as-built drawings and other project close-out documentation.
Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) regulations, company policies and quality management procedures.
Provide technical guidance to site teams and resolve engineering, construction and site-related issues to ensure smooth project delivery.
Requirements
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in ACMV construction project execution.
Strong technical knowledge of ACMV systems and construction practices
Good understanding of Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) regulations
Strong coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
