A leading multinational organization delivering large-scale, complex engineering and industrial projects is seeking a Regional IT Operations Manager to oversee IT operations across its Asia Pacific footprint. Based in Singapore, this role supports a geographically diverse business with multiple sites across the region, ensuring reliable IT service delivery while partnering with regional stakeholders, global technology teams, and external vendors to enable business operations and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

You will lead regional IT operations, ensuring technology services are delivered consistently and effectively across multiple countries. Working closely with business leaders and global IT functions, you will coordinate operational priorities, oversee service delivery performance, and ensure business needs are aligned with global technology standards and governance. The role also includes managing regional IT operating budgets, supporting demand planning, and driving sound financial oversight.

As the regional escalation point for operational issues, you will oversee major incident management, coordinate timely resolution with internal teams and external partners, and identify opportunities for lasting service improvements. You will also promote the adoption of standardized IT processes, governance frameworks, and best practices to enhance service quality and operational efficiency across the region.

Requirements

You hold a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, together with substantial experience leading enterprise IT operations within large, multinational organizations. You have a strong understanding of IT Service Management principles, including ITIL or comparable frameworks, and a proven track record managing regional IT service delivery, operational planning, and technology support across multiple locations.

You are an effective stakeholder manager who is comfortable engaging senior business leaders, global technology teams, and external vendors to deliver successful outcomes. Experience working within a global matrix organization, managing complex operational issues, and driving continuous service improvement will be highly regarded. Exposure to enterprise technologies, cloud technologies, networking, end-user computing, and applications is important, as is the ability to travel extensively across the Asia Pacific region.
