EITA-Schneider (MFG) Hiring! Full Time Purchasing Executive in Selangor - Ricebowl

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Purchasing Executive based in Bandar Bukit Raja, Klang. The role involves coordinating with suppliers, customers, and the design team to validate specifications, obtain pricing, and identify cost optimization opportunities. The Purchasing Executive will also manage purchase order records, maintain costing templates and tracking reports, conduct price checks for secured projects, and prepare weekly and monthly reports to support effective purchasing operations and business decision-making.

You will play an important role to

• Generate costing for new projects (Local and Overseas). Conduct detailed analysis of project requirements and specifications to generate accurate cost estimates.
• Prepare quotations for parts (Local and Overseas). Prepare comprehensive and competitive quotations for parts based on project specifications and cost estimates.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of costing and quotations to customers.
• Collaborate with suppliers and the Design Team to validate specifications and gather accurate quotations.
• Seek clarification on technical requirements and collaborate on cost optimization opportunities.
• Conduct price checks for every secured project to ensure the accuracy and consistency of costing data.
• Responsible for recording and updating every purchase order received from customers.
• Maintain a systematic record of all purchase orders received from customers. Ensure the purchase orders are accurately updated with relevant information.
• Maintain an up-to-date costing template with accurate information. Develop and maintain a comprehensive costing template that reflects the latest cost structures and pricing factors.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in purchasing.
• Submit a monthly report to the manager/superior that provides an accurate update on costing activities, including cost raisings, and highlights any relevant issues. The report should include detailed costing reports for each project, encompassing comprehensive summaries and breakdowns of costs.
• Responsible for weekly updates to the Master Tracking Report.
• Perform other duties as assigned by superior.

To be successful in this role you will need to have

• Degree or Diploma/Certificate in any kind of discipline.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred, as the role requires communication with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• 1 year working experience in costing field. (However, fresh graduates are encouraged to apply!)
• Computer literacy and strong analytical skill.
• Able to work independently and maintain in high standards and accuracy.
• Office based at Bandar Bukit Raja, Klang.
