Job Description

Responsibilities

My client is a leading financial services platform is seeking an experienced Project & Strategy Lead to support regional growth initiatives across Asia.


This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of strategy, M&A, regulatory expansion, and market development, partnering with senior stakeholders to evaluate and execute growth opportunities across multiple jurisdictions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate strategic expansion opportunities, including acquisitions, partnerships, and new market entry initiatives.
  • Support end-to-end transaction processes, including commercial assessment, due diligence coordination, and integration planning.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and business assessments to identify attractive growth opportunities.
  • Lead and coordinate licensing and regulatory application processes across different markets.
  • Manage external advisors, consultants, and legal partners to ensure timely delivery of key expansion projects.
  • Prepare investment papers, strategic recommendations, and presentations for senior management and decision-makers.
  • Monitor project milestones, key risks, and execution timelines across multiple concurrent initiatives.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in corporate strategy, corporate development, M&A, consulting, investment banking, or financial services.
  • Exposure to transaction execution, commercial due diligence, market entry strategy, or business expansion projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to translate complex information into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and project coordination skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing presentations, business cases, or investment materials.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment with regional exposure.
