- Manage the full quantity surveying process from tender to final account.
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions.
- Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations and negotiate the best commercial terms.
- Prepare, review, and administer contracts and subcontracts.
- Monitor project costs, variations, claims, and payments.
- Prepare monthly project cost reports and cash flow forecasts.
- Handle contractual correspondence, claims, extension of time , and dispute resolution.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Ensure contractual compliance and minimize commercial risks.
- Lead and mentor the QS team where required.
- Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
- Experience in M&E/Electrical projects will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement, and cost control.
- Familiar with Singapore construction practices and standard forms of contract (e.g. SIA, PSSCOC, NEC, FIDIC).
- Good negotiation and analytical skills.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and QS-related software.
