Role Summary

• The Senior GeoAI / ML Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying production-grade Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and GeoAI solutions to support spatial intelligence initiatives. The role focuses on geospatial foundation models, computer vision, remote sensing, georeferencing, spatial analytics, and AI-powered geospatial applications, while ensuring solutions are scalable, reliable, and production-ready.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop GeoAI, Machine Learning, and Computer Vision solutions.
• Build image segmentation, object detection, and feature extraction models.
• Develop AI-powered map digitization, vectorization, and georeferencing capabilities.
• Create predictive spatial analytics and anomaly detection solutions.
• Develop spatial AI agents and intelligent automation workflows.
• Build and maintain model training, validation, and inference pipelines.
• Integrate AI models with GIS platforms, APIs, and enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with GIS specialists, domain experts, Data Engineers, and MLOps teams to deploy production-ready solutions.
• Support ArcGIS Enterprise, PostgreSQL/PostGIS, and geospatial data environments.
• Maintain model documentation, performance metrics, and governance standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, Geomatics, Remote Sensing, Geology, Geophysics, Earth Science, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in AI/ML solution development and deployment.
• Strong proficiency in Python and modern AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
• Solid experience in Computer Vision, Deep Learning, and model development.
• Strong capabilities in data preparation, feature engineering, model training, validation, and performance evaluation.
• Experience deploying Machine Learning models in enterprise environments, including ArcGIS Enterprise platforms.
• Strong understanding of GIS, geospatial data structures, spatial analysis, and geospatial workflows.
• Knowledge of APIs, system integration, and software engineering best practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
