We are seeking a strategic and people-focused Talent Manager to lead talent management initiatives that attract, develop, engage, and retain high-performing employees across the organization. In this role, you will design and implement talent strategies that support workforce planning, leadership development, succession planning, employee engagement, and organizational growth while aligning talent initiatives with business objectives.
You will collaborate closely with executive leadership, human resources, business leaders, learning and development teams, and department managers to identify talent needs, assess organizational capabilities, and implement programs that enhance employee performance and career development. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership, communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build a high-performance culture and foster employee growth.
Key responsibilities include developing talent management frameworks, overseeing performance management processes, leading succession planning initiatives, implementing leadership development programs, managing employee engagement strategies, supporting workforce planning, and leveraging people analytics to drive informed talent decisions. The Talent Manager will also partner with Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and HR Business Partners to optimize the employee lifecycle, improve retention, and strengthen organizational capability.
Success in this role requires strategic thinking, emotional intelligence, business acumen, and the ability to influence leaders while creating scalable talent solutions that support long-term organizational success.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement talent management strategies aligned with business goals.
- Lead succession planning and leadership development initiatives.
- Design and manage performance management frameworks and employee development programs.
- Partner with business leaders to identify talent gaps and workforce capability needs.
- Support organizational design and workforce planning initiatives.
- Develop employee engagement, retention, and career development strategies.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to ensure effective hiring and onboarding processes.
- Work with Learning & Development teams to create training and leadership programs.
- Utilize HR analytics and workforce data to support strategic decision-making.
- Coach managers on performance management, talent reviews, and career development.
- Monitor talent metrics and prepare executive reports and dashboards.
- Promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and employee well-being initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, HR policies, and organizational standards.
- Drive continuous improvement in talent management processes and HR programs.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in talent management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Development, Management, or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of talent management, succession planning, leadership development, and performance management.
- Experience in organizational development, workforce planning, and employee engagement.
- Familiarity with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and talent management platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using HR metrics and people analytics.
- Excellent communication, coaching, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strong leadership, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience leading cross-functional HR and talent initiatives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Power BI, and HR reporting tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and organizational excellence.
- Professional certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, CIPD, PHR, or SPHR are advantageous.
