Job Description
Responsibilities
- Inspecting construction sites regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards.
- Supervising and instructing the construction team as well as subcontractors.
- Educating site workers on construction safety regulations and accident protocol.
- Enforcing site safety rules to minimize work-related accidents and injuries.
- Handling site accidents in accordance with established accident protocol.
- Maintaining an accurate record of construction employee attendance.
- eview method statements, safe work procedures (SWP), and risk assessments (RA) prior to work commencement.
- Verify workers’ safety credentials (e.g., Work-at-Height, Lifting Gear Certs, REO passes) and enforce compliance.
- Attend and conduct daily toolbox meetings to review work activities and risk mitigation.
- Operate and manage Body Worn Camera (BWC) and verify contractor’s CCTV system is functional before any work begins.
- Liaise with contractors, project officers, and internal stakeholders on technical and safety issues
