Job Description

Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition Support

  • Job Board Management: Assist in drafting and updating job advertisements across localized recruitment platforms, including Jobstreet, MyCareersFuture, and LinkedIn.

  • Resume Screening: Conduct initial screening of applicant resumes against specified key performance criteria for retail, sales, logistics, and executive roles.

  • Interview Coordination: Liaise between hiring managers and prospective applicants to schedule, confirm, and coordinate interview panels.

2. Onboarding & Employee Life Cycle Administration

  • New Hire Readiness: Assist the HR Officer in drafting employment contracts, confirmation letters, and preparing physical or digital onboarding kits.

  • Personnel Records: Maintain strict confidentiality while updating internal HR databases and tracking employee details (e.g., leaves, probation end dates, and training logs).

  • Offboarding Logistics: Help prepare documentation for smooth exit clearances, hardware handbacks, and file archiving.

3. Compensation, Benefits & Compliance Assistance

  • Attendance Tracking: Help audit monthly retail shift logs, clock-in records, and medical leaves to ensure accurate data inputs for payroll computation.

  • Regulatory Filing Support: Assist with standard administrative tasks involving CPF entries, government-paid leave portals, and Ministry of Manpower (MOM) documentation.

4. Workplace Culture & Employee Engagement

  • Internal Events: Coordinate logistics for corporate team-building events, employee wellness initiatives, and seasonal retail staff programs.

  • Feedback Gathering: Assist in compiling internal pulse surveys or culture feedback to support continuous workplace improvement.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Currently pursuing a Diploma, Degree, or equivalent certification in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.

  • Commitment: Available for an immediate start or planned internship period of at least 3 to 6 months.

  • Soft Skills: High emotional intelligence, an empathetic nature, and clear communication skills to converse comfortably with employees across diverse corporate and retail backgrounds.

  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to data entry and documentation with a solid grasp of personal data confidentiality principles (PDPA guidelines).

  • Technical Literacy: Proficiency with standard digital tools, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and basic exposure to HRIS tools or collaborative suites.
