Job Description Summary

About the role:
We are looking for an Assistant Cost Manager for our Site-based team working at a Hyperscale Data Centre Campus. You will be highly organized, have excellent communication and team working skills and thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will have experience coordinating and managing commercial process flows and deliverables.
This role will be supporting construction and retrofit projects in a live environment – with full collaboration and coordination with other teams and stakeholders.

What this job involves:
Assist in the delivery of Commercial, Cost and Procurement tasks.
Support the development of client commercial and procurement briefs.
Conduct cost evaluations of contracts under supervision.
Assist in administering contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
Support the compilation of procurement and tendering documents.
Help develop project cost and procurement documentation, programs, and budgets.
Assist in monitoring and reporting on contractor and sub-contractor commercial progress.
Support the management of consultant team contracts while maintaining focus on time, cost and quality.
Assist in preparing and updating monthly dashboard reports to track project financial performance
Support the creation of detailed weekly and monthly reports on commercial positions
Help conduct cashflow analysis and forecasting for ongoing projects
Assist in evaluating contractors' quotes and comparing them against project budgets
Support the compilation and review of tendering documentation
Help analyze tender returns and assist in contract negotiations
Contribute to the development of project cost documentation and master budgets
Assist in monitoring and reporting on main and specialist sub-contractors' commercial progress against contracts
Support the management of consultant team contracts to ensure design compliance with commercial contracts and budgets
Help prepare cost evaluations of contracts to meet client expectations and budgets

Sound like you? To apply you will have:
Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin.
3-5 years' experience in a related field.
Degree Qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
Experience in construction site environments.
Familiarity with international project standards.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Logical approach and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
