Responsibilities
Working Hour
- Mondays to Fridays: 7:30am to 3:00 pm
- Daily upkeep of food labs (equipment, table tops, floor, sinks).
- Daily checks and maintenance of tools, utensils, and appliances.
- Manage food items in fridges and storage; inform the coordinator when supplies are low.
- Prepare raw materials for classes (cutting, portioning).
- Ensure all utensils and cookware are organised and accounted for.
- Maintain safety signs and posters.
- Assist with the termly stock-take of equipment and utensils.
- Label and clean tabletops, shelves, and equipment twice yearly.
- Conduct termly checks on perishables.
- Support afternoon cooking programs and school-based activities in food labs.
- Basic certifications in food preparation and food safety.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience.
