Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Civil & Structural Engineer role based in main office in Bandar Utama. The Civil & Structural Engineer will perform structural analysis and design for buildings and civil structures, ensuring compliance with local codes, regulations, and client requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing design calculations, drawings, and technical reports; reviewing construction documents; and coordinating with architects, M&E consultants, utility providers, and authorities for submissions and approvals. The role involves supporting project planning, monitoring progress, and resolving technical issues on-site or during design review. The engineer will also participate in meetings with clients and stakeholders to clarify requirements, propose solutions, and maintain clear communication throughout project delivery.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering and Structural Engineering fundamentals, including a strong understanding of materials, design codes, and construction methods.
• Civil Engineering Design and Structural Analysis skills for developing safe, efficient, and compliant structural solutions.
• Project Management capabilities, including planning, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and tracking deliverables and timelines.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Registration with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (or eligibility and willingness to obtain registration) is an advantage.
• Experience with relevant design and analysis software
• Familiarity with Malaysian building codes, UBBL, SPAN requirements, and local authority submission processes is beneficial.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical report-writing skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
