We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our culinary team. The Chef will be responsible for planning, preparing, and presenting high-quality dishes while ensuring consistency, food safety, and efficient kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present menu items in accordance with the restaurant's recipes and quality standards.
• Plan and organise daily kitchen operations to ensure timely food preparation and service.
• Monitor food quality, taste, and presentation to maintain consistency.
• Supervise and guide kitchen staff, providing training and support where required.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels, order ingredients, and minimise food wastage through proper stock control.
• Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and seasonal menu updates.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is used safely and maintained in good working condition.
• Work closely with the restaurant management team to deliver an excellent dining experience.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Relevant culinary qualification or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Chef in a restaurant or commercial kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Good organisational and time management abilities.
