Job Description

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Manager to lead key functions within our Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) operations. This role will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and oversee the whole finance spectrum including REIT’s taxation, compliance and corporate secretarial matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation and analysis of consolidated financial statements in accordance with SFRS and REIT-specific reporting requirements.
  • Review Group consolidated financial statements and subsidiaries monthly close.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning across the real estate portfolio.
  • Review cash flow projections, journals and key reviewer for AR and AP function.
  • Maintain compliance with internal SOPs and Delegation of Authority.
  • Work with internal team members to understand risks areas for the REIT and maintain risk register for the REIT.
  • Manage quarterly earnings releases, presentations, and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with SGX listing requirement, MAS requirements, REIT tax, GST
  • Work closely with external / internal auditors, tax advisors, and legal counsel to ensure accurate reporting and regulatory adherence.
  • Lead a team of finance professionals; mentor junior staff and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Assist in debt and equity capital raising initiatives
  • Assist in corporate secretarial matters
  • Assist in other adhoc matters (eg sustainability reporting)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (CPA preferred).
  • 5-8 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 3 years in the real estate or REIT industry.
  • Strong understanding of REIT regulations, financial structures.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
