Roles and Responsibilities:
Upholding governance in Government procurement while ensuring quality project delivery and alignment with agency objectives and outcomes.
1. Compliance & Policy
- Ensure procurement activities are conducted in accordance with Government procurement policies, regulations and guidelines (e.g. IM8, GeBIZ requirements)
2. Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare, review and maintain procurement documents such as Requests for Quotation (RFQs), Approval of Requirement (AOR) and evaluation reports.
- Provide regular updates and reports on procurement status to relevant stakeholders and management
3. Any other procurement-related duties and ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Reporting Officer (RO)
Job Requirements:
- Min. 4 years’ experience in managing the full life-cycle of a procurement project, including procurement planning, sourcing and evaluation;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including documentation and minute taking;
- Detail-oriented and meticulous, with a strong ability to follow through on tasks to closure;
- Ability to work effectively and independently under pressure, and prioritise effectively to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional and internal stakeholders; and
- Preferably familiar with Government procurement framework and guidelines
This is a 3- year Contract Position
