The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) is charged with the responsibility for maintaining the stability and integrity of the monetary and financial systems of Hong Kong. There is now an excellent opportunity for eligible candidates to apply for the following post:

Manager (Internal Audit)

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct and manage IT and operational audits in various business areas of the HKMA to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of the governance, risk management and internal control processes
• Formulate practical recommendations to enhance control effectiveness and operational efficiency
• Report audit findings by articulating issues and recommendations in formal reports and conduct follow-up
• Provide professional advice on risk and control issues in relation to new technology projects or business initiatives
• Assist in other engagements as assigned

Requirements

• University degree in information technology, accounting, business, finance or related fields
• Professional qualification in CISA, CISM, CISSP, CIA, CPA or equivalent
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience gained from sizeable banks, financial institutions, audit or consulting firms
• Experience in IT audit will be an advantage
• Solid experience in assessing risks and controls in relations to IT and other business operations
• Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skill

• Depending on the openings available, successful candidate may be appointed on fixed contract terms
