Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Business Development Manager to join our team at Perfect Healthcare group of companies. This role is critical in expanding our patient base, enhancing service offerings, and building partnerships with healthcare professionals, corporate clients, and community stakeholders. The ideal candidate has strong commercial acumen, a deep understanding of healthcare services, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care through strategic growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Growth Strategy: Develop and execute business development strategies to increase patient volumes, attract new referrers, and expand service lines.
- Partnership Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with GPs, specialists, allied health professionals, insurance providers, and corporate clients.
- Community Engagement: Represent the medical centre at community events, health fairs, and business forums to promote services and build brand awareness.
- Referral Network Expansion: Identify and engage referral sources, including local clinics, aged care facilities, and wellness programs.
- Market Analysis: Monitor local healthcare trends, patient demographics, and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for service improvement or expansion.
- Collaboration: Work closely with clinical staff, operations, marketing, and admin teams to support seamless service delivery and patient satisfaction.
- Performance Tracking: Set and monitor KPIs related to patient acquisition, service utilization, and partnership development. Provide regular reporting to leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Management, Marketing, Nursing or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in business development, preferably within a medical centre, clinic, or private healthcare setting.
- Strong understanding of healthcare operations, private billing models, and referral networks.
- Excellent interpersonal, networking, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to drive revenue growth and manage relationships with healthcare professionals.
Preferred Skills & Attributes:
- A network of contacts within the local healthcare or medical community.
- Experience with marketing or outreach campaigns targeting patients or referrers.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
