Job Summary

We’re hiring full-time Catering Operations Staff to support daily prep-to-event execution: packing, loading, buffet setup, service support, and teardown.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role with flexible working hours depending on event schedules. If you prefer a fixed 9–6 routine, this role will frustrate you. If you enjoy structured work, teamwork, and event execution—and want strong OT earning potential—you’ll fit in.

Responsibilities

• Pack food and equipment accurately using SOPs + checklists
• Load/unload catering equipment (cambros, crates, tables, chafers, décor items)
• On-site buffet setup: layout, warmer/chafing setup, labeling, presentation checks
• Service support: replenishment, cleanliness, and maintaining buffet standards
• Hygiene & food safety discipline (sanitising, handling rules, temperature awareness)
• Teardown, clearing, and return-to-kitchen procedures (sorting, cleaning, reporting)
• Communicate clearly with supervisors during tight timelines

Working Style

• Flexible hours: start/end times vary based on event timing
• Overtime is common and paid; in busy months OT can go up to ~100 hours/month
• Some weekends / public holidays required when event schedule demands

Requirements

• Reliable attendance + punctuality
• Comfortable with physical work
• Able to work flexible hours and travel to event sites
• Good hygiene habits and willingness to follow SOPs strictly
• Team player, calm under pressure

Bonus (advantage)

• Catering/banquet/event crew experience
• Driving license (D) / can drive company vehicle (if applicable)
• Experience with buffet setup / chafers / hot holding

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,968.66 - RM4,680.41 per month
