Job Summary

• Responsible in the smooth running of machineries including factory facilities / utilities e.g electric supply, water supply, spare parts, and computer networking (production automation)
• Responsible in improvement and upgrading project related to production and utility section.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing the on-going preventive maintenance and repair of Electrical machineries through subordinate staff.
• Responsible in setting up preventive maintenance system and procedures and to monitor implementation of the systems and procedures which has been made.
• Responsible in plan installation and modification work.
• Monitor energy consumption of production plant and rectify any abnormalities.
• Responsible in the smooth running of machineries, factory facilities/ utilities e.g., electric supply, water supply, and computer networking.
• Acting as Flour ISO team member.
• Acting as a competent person of Scheduled Waste Management.
• To interact with personnel from various department in the company, supplier, contractor, consultant, and TNB.
• To observe and obey rules and regulations set up by company.
• Working with specialist on energy conservation programs and recommends electrical equipment modifications to maximize electricity cost savings.

Education & Qualification

• Minimum bachelor’s degree/ Post Graduate Diploma/ Professional Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical) or equivalent qualification recognized.

Relevant Experience & Years of Service

• At least five (5) years of working experience in the related field.

Technical Skills & Professional Knowledge

• Must be familiar with Electricity Supply Act 1990 (ESA 1990).
• Factories & Machinery Act 1967.
• Occupational Safety & Health Act 1994 (OSHA 1994).
• Certified competent person for Scheduled Waste Management.
• ISO internal auditor
