Roles and Responsibilities
- Monitor & manage departmental performances against agreed targets and budgets.
- Monitoring and maintaining plant equipment and machinery to ensure that it’s running as it should be.
- Responsible for fixing any mechanical issues with the equipment.
- Assist plant personnel in carrying out safety and quality control procedures so that everyone on the team is compliant with the appropriate regulations.
- Plans to ensure that timelines and blueprints are accurate and that cost estimates tie in with the budget.
- Ensuring the facility is compliant with the relevant regulations and that regular check-ups are carried out to verify that machinery and processes are safe.
- Work with all machinery used in the manufacturing process to check that they’re working to peak efficiency and maximum safety, so mechanical skills are a must.
- Spot any problems with machinery and to identify processes that can be improved to benefit the organization and the safety of the team, so applicants for this job should be detail- oriented.
- Identify ways to resolve them as quickly as possible, so problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are advantageous.
- Production planning and monitor inventory levels.
- Prepare work scheduling for plant personnel.
Qualifications
- Degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent
- Fresh graduate encouraged to apply
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8:00AM - 5:00PM)
Work Location: Prai Industrial State, Perai
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
