About the Role

We are seeking an experienced ERP Project Manager to lead a large-scale Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance (D365 Finance)implementation project. This strategic initiative will modernize finance operations by transitioning from legacy systems to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance while supporting business process standardization, digital transformation, and operational excellence.

As the ERP Project Manager, you will oversee the complete project lifecycle—from planning and governance through implementation, testing, cutover, go-live, and post-implementation stabilization. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, implementation partners, technical teams, and vendors to ensure successful project delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Delivery

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance (D365 Finance).
• Develop and manage the overall project plan, project schedule, milestones, and deliverables.
• Ensure successful delivery of project objectives within agreed timelines and budget.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including business, functional, technical, testing, and infrastructure teams.
• Monitor project progress and proactively resolve delivery challenges.
• Drive project governance and ensure adherence to implementation methodologies.

Project Planning & Governance

• Define project scope, objectives, resource planning, and implementation strategy.
• Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and project timelines.
• Organize project governance meetings, steering committee reviews, and status reporting.
• Track project milestones, dependencies, and key performance indicators.
• Ensure compliance with project management standards and organizational governance.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Build strong relationships with business leaders, project sponsors, and key stakeholders.
• Coordinate activities across internal departments and external implementation partners.
• Manage vendor performance and ensure delivery commitments are achieved.
• Facilitate decision-making sessions and executive project updates.
• Maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Risk, Change & Issue Management

• Identify project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
• Develop mitigation plans and monitor project risks proactively.
• Manage project changes through structured change management processes.
• Escalate critical issues to senior management where necessary.
• Ensure effective issue resolution across project teams.

ERP Implementation & Go-Live

• Oversee solution design reviews and ensure alignment with business requirements.
• Coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and business readiness activities.
• Lead cutover planning, deployment activities, and go-live execution.
• Ensure successful transition from implementation to production support.
• Monitor post-go-live stabilization and project closure activities.

Business Readiness & Adoption

• Support organizational change management and user readiness initiatives.
• Coordinate training activities with business users.
• Promote user adoption of new ERP processes and solutions.
• Ensure business teams are prepared for operational transition.
• Drive continuous improvement throughout the implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 11–14 years of project management experience, including enterprise ERP implementation projects.
• Proven experience leading Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance (D365 Finance) implementation projects.
• Prior ERP implementation experience with at least one of the following:
• Microsoft Dynamics 365
• SAP
• NetSuite

• Experience working in finance transformation or digital transformation projects is highly preferred.
