We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Accounts Manager to oversee the full spectrum of financial operations for multiple entities within our Group of companies. This role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, hands-on experience in multi-entity reporting.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing group-level financial reporting while supporting management with accurate financial insights and strategic analysis.
Responsibilities
- Manage full set of accounts for multiple entities within the Group
- Manage day-to-day operational tasks within the accounts department.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and consolidated financial reports for group-level review.
- Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
- Monitor and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances across all entities.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, PCB, etc.).
- Monitor cash flow positions across the Group and ensure effective financial planning.
- Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and cost control monitoring
- Prepare and submit tax returns in accordance with local regulations.
- Liaise with tax authorities, auditors, bankers, and other external parties.
- Coordinate and support internal and external audit processes for all entities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal company policies.
- Provide financial analysis and advisory support to management for strategic decision-making.
- Undertake other ad hoc assignments as and when assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience; experience handling multiple entities is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, tax compliance, and statutory requirements.
- Experience in consolidated reporting and intercompany reconciliation is an advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software systems.
- High level of integrity, accountability and attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple deadlines across different business units.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
