Our client, a leading company in the financial services industry, is looking for experienced Senior QA Automation Engineers to join its expanding technology team based in Damansara, Petaling Jaya.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in QA Automation.
• Proven experience as a Senior QA Automation Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and BDD frameworks such as Behave or Cucumber.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks.
• Strong experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Experience in API automation testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of test data management strategies and automation best practices.
• Experience testing real-time systems, trading platforms, or event-driven architectures is an advantage.
• Familiarity with BDD methodologies, Gherkin syntax, and maintainable test design.
• Experience analysing and resolving flaky tests to improve automation stability.
• Exposure to AI-driven testing or AI-assisted development workflows is a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts for new features and user stories.
• Design and maintain scalable test automation frameworks to support long-term project growth.
• Establish and enforce QA automation standards, coding guidelines, and BDD best practices.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, including regression, smoke, and quality gate testing.
• Develop and maintain API automation while ensuring alignment across UI, API, and backend validation.
• Design and implement effective test data management strategies.
• Ensure comprehensive cross-layer testing across UI, API, and database components.
• Improve automation execution speed, reliability, and test parallelisation.
• Implement AI-assisted testing initiatives to improve test coverage and efficiency.
• Perform code reviews and automation script reviews to maintain framework quality and consistency.
• Identify quality risks and proactively recommend improvements.
• Mentor QA team members on automation frameworks, best practices, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain automation documentation, reporting dashboards, and quality metrics.

Pay: Up to RM11,000.00 per month
