What you'll be doing
What we're looking for
- Loading and unloading, transporting and delivering items to clients or businesses in safe, timely manner.
- Review and ensure the orders are complete before delivery and the customer is satisfied.
- Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.
- Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
- Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
- Keep good book records of documents and receipts relating to deliveries.
- Responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of the vehicles.
- Meeting deliveries deadlines.
- Perform tasks assigned by department Supervisor/HOD.
- Assist/support other departments in their work as required.
- Undertake miscellaneous job related with assigned duties.
What we're looking for
- A valid heavy goods vehicle (lorry) driving license with a clean driving record
- Minimum 1 years of experience as a professional lorry driver, ideally in a similar logistics or transportation role
- Responsible and punctual person
- Good communication skills to liaise with customers and colleagues
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and customer service
