Responsibilities

What The Role Is

You are responsible for the management of information technology (IT) infrastructure projects and strengthening the infrastructure architecture to enhance availability, scalability, security and maintenance.

What You Will Be Working On
  • Provide dedicated focus for the development and delivery of IT infrastructure and other related projects to enhance connectivity, UX, UI and productivity
  • Strengthen the IT infrastructure architecture to enhance availability, scalability, cross-compatibility, maintenance and security
  • Develop IT infrastructure analytic tools to support decision-making for optimising the management of OSIT infrastructure
  • Manage and work with various project teams to ensure delivery and roll-out of projects within the approved budget and schedule

    Challenge(s)
  • Working with different IT Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across intra and inter-ministry level

What We Are Looking For
  • Education in IT or related disciplines
  • At least 6 years of prior IT project-management experience
  • Ability to work independently and communicate across multiple agencies within MINDEF/SAF as well as across Whole-of-Government Ministries and Statutory Boards
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
