Social Enterprise Summit (SES) is a non-profit cross sector platform organised by the Hong Kong Social Entrepreneurship Forum Ltd. The flagship International Symposium on social innovation and social entrepreneurship in the Asia Pacific region; alongside year-round Community Entrepreneurship programmes and events, are built on the experiences of over 70 speakers from 20 locations and 30+ Co-organisers. SES inspire, innovate, connect and collaborate with delegates from the civic society, businesses, academic and government sectors from Hong Kong, Asia and beyond to advance positive societal changes.
We are looking for an Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team. If you are a self-starter; or team leader who would like to be involved in projects leading to positive social impact and working with communities, we would like to hear from you.
Job Responsibilities
Be responsible for project management responsibilities including project approach formulation, scoping, implementation planning, budgeting, co-creation design, and partner/stakeholder engagement.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners and stakeholders, such as government departments, social enterprises, NGOs, professional institutes, social innovators, and community organisations.
Lead and supervise production teams for event preparation and guest registration.
Plan and execute conference sessions for the International Symposium—from concept to completion—working closely with members of the Organising Committee.
Manage end-to-end speaker coordination, including invitations and travel and lodging support for both overseas and local guests.
Oversee resources and procurement to ensure smooth event operations.
Perform ad hoc assignments and support special projects as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably with demonstrated project management experience.
Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to prioritise and manage tasks independently.
A collaborative team player with a positive mindset, strong interpersonal skills, and effective problem-solving abilities.
Experience in an agency, production house, or government-related project is a plus.
