Role Description The Shipping Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Petaling Jaya. This position is responsible for coordinating daily export and freight forwarding activities, ensuring timely and accurate shipping arrangements. The role involves preparing and reviewing export documentation, monitoring shipment status, and liaising with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve any issues. The Shipping Executive will update internal systems, maintain shipment records, and support compliance with relevant trade and customs regulations. The role also includes communicating shipment details to customers and contributing to process improvements within the logistics team.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong communication skills, including clear written and verbal interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess export-related skills, including knowledge of Export procedures and Export Documentation requirements.
• Candidates should possess forwarding and Freight coordination skills, with experience in freight forwarding operations and shipment handling.
• Candidates should ideally have experience in logistics, supply chain, or international trade, with familiarity in customs and regulatory compliance.
• Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines.
• Candidates should be proficient with basic office software and logistics or ERP systems; prior experience in a shipping or logistics company is an advantage.
