Role Description The AI Designer at Pixelpost is a full-time, on-site role based in Kajang. This role focuses on designing and implementing AI-driven visual concepts, tools, and workflows that support production, post-production, VFX, and animation projects. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with creative directors and designers to translate briefs into AI-assisted visual outputs, experimenting with generative AI tools, training and fine-tuning models for specific creative purposes, and integrating AI assets into existing pipelines. The AI Designer will create visual templates and prototypes, maintain consistency with brand and project guidelines, and document processes to enable smooth adoption of AI solutions by the wider creative team. This role also involves staying up to date with emerging AI design technologies and proposing improvements for efficiency and creative quality.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in visual design and motion graphics, with skills in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), Figma, or similar platforms.
• Hands-on experience with AI and generative tools (e.g., Midjourney, DALL·E, Stable Diffusion, Runway, or similar), and the ability to design effective prompts and workflows.
• Basic to intermediate understanding of data, models, and automation for creative production (e.g., model fine-tuning, dataset preparation, or integrating AI into pipelines).
• Solid collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with creative, production, and technical teams in a fast-paced studio environment.
• Relevant academic background or equivalent experience in design, multimedia, computer graphics, human-computer interaction, or a related field.
• Attention to detail, strong creative problem-solving abilities, and interest in emerging AI and design trends.
• Experience in film, animation, post-production, or VFX environments is a plus.
• Comfort working on-site in Kajang, with flexibility to adapt to evolving project needs and technologies.
