Responsible for the safe, reliable operation of data centre facilities and critical infrastructure, supporting 24/7 operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operation of data centre facilities
- Oversee critical systems (power, cooling, UPS, generators, fire systems)
- Plan and manage preventive and reactive maintenance
- Supervise contractors and service providers
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and outages as required
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards
- Maintain operational logs, reports, and documentation
- Support 24/7 operational availability of the data centre
- Provide out-of-hours support for incidents, maintenance, and emergencies
- Degree holder in engineering field
- 5 years or more experience in a similar role within a data centre or critical environment
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
- Comfortable working in a 24/7, mission-critical setting
