Job Description
Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced System Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong technical analysis skills, experience with Java-based applications, technical documentation, and the ability to bridge business and technical teams.
Responsibilities
Perform technical analysis for regional payment solutions, including system architecture, workflows, and technical design.
Collaborate with business users, developers, and vendors throughout project implementation and support.
Propose system improvements and recommend best practices.
Prepare and review technical documents, including design specifications.
Review vendor deliverables and ensure quality standards are met.
Review test plans (Unit, SIT, UAT, Integration) and support testing activities.
Analyse existing SDLC processes and recommend continuous improvements.
Prepare SQL queries and review Java source code where required.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 6–7 years' experience as a System Analyst or Technical Analyst in the banking industry.
Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Java libraries, and Oracle Database.
Experience preparing functional and technical design specifications.
Hands-on experience across the full SDLC and medium-to-large system implementations.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
Experience managing vendors and coordinating with stakeholders.
Project planning or small team leadership experience is an advantage.
Good to Have
Knowledge of Cross-Border Payments (CBPR+), MEPS+, SWIFT MT, and ISO 20022 MX messaging.
Experience with payment systems, banking transformation, financial messaging, and regulatory compliance.
