Mechanical/Electrical Technician



Job Description

Preferably familiar with warehouse automation electronics (PLC / module, HMI, SCADA, UPS, camera systems and QR codes, Wifi Access point) and mechanical components of automation such as robot picking mechanism, and warehouse maintenance (e.g. breaker system, electrical cabling, structured cabling)

Ideally should have working at heights license, familiar with basket type scissor lift operation and maintenance

Inspect, clear and monitor robot zones for any potential issues such as debris, fallen totes, or package

Familiar with computer upkeep and maintenance

Familiar with how to implement Lock out tag out procedure

Support day-to-day issues to ensure smooth operations

Attend to breakdown & maintenance complaints promptly

Carry out scheduled maintenance works according to checklist at designated areas / sites

Perform repair & diagnose faults

Repair, clean, inspect, lubricate, and adjust parts, equipment, and machine where required

Any other tasks as required by engineer or technician lead



Background / Skill Sets

Diploma or equivalent (e.g. Mechatronics / Electronics / Electrical Engineering /Mechanical Engineer)

1-2 years of experience in warehouse or manufacturing facility

Preferred qualifications: holding Perform Work at Height (PWAH) and Operate Scissor Lift (OSL) certification
