Responsibilities
Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and oversee maritime projects from initiation through to completion
Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation in consultation with stakeholders
Liaise with shipyards, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met
Monitor project progress and address delays, risks, or technical issues as they arise
️ Ensure compliance with maritime regulations, classification society standards, and safety requirements
Prepare and present project status reports, budgets, and forecasts to senior management
Coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and operations, to align project deliverables
Manage contracts and vendor relationships, including negotiations and performance reviews
Conduct site visits and inspections to verify work quality and adherence to project specifications
Lead post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and improve future project execution
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Project Management, or a related field
At least 5 years of relevant experience managing projects within the maritime, shipbuilding, or offshore industry
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, maritime regulations, and classification society requirements
Proficiency in project management tools and software, with the ability to manage budgets and schedules effectively
Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
