Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Physical Education lessons aligned with the Cambridge Curriculum and school policies.
• Teach a variety of sports, fitness activities, movement skills, and physical development programmes.
• Promote healthy living, discipline, teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship among students.
• Assess students' physical performance and maintain accurate academic and participation records.
• Organise and coordinate school sports events, tournaments, Sports Day, and inter-school competitions.
• Coach school sports teams and supervise co-curricular sports activities.
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of students during all physical activities.
• Maintain and manage sports facilities, equipment, and inventory.
• Encourage students of all abilities to participate actively in physical activities.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school management to support student development.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development programmes, school events, and other assigned duties.
• Uphold the school's safeguarding, health and safety, and child protection policies.

Job RequirementsQualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, Exercise Science, or a related field.
• Teaching qualification or education certification is an added advantage.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Physical Education.
• Experience teaching in an international school or Cambridge curriculum environment is an added advantage.
• Experience coaching school sports teams and organising sporting events is preferred.

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of various sports, fitness training, and physical education methodologies.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to motivate and engage students with different abilities and fitness levels.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and event management abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and educational technology.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
