Job Purpose

To safely operate the Company's lorry for the timely delivery of catering equipment, food, vegetables, groceries, and other company goods while ensuring proper handling, vehicle maintenance, and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities1. Delivery & Transportation

• Safely transport catering equipment, food, vegetables, groceries, and company supplies to all restaurant branches, catering events, suppliers, and customers.
• Collect vegetables, raw materials, and other supplies from suppliers according to the daily schedule.
• Deliver orders accurately and on time.
• Load, unload, and secure goods properly to prevent damage during transportation.
• Ensure perishable items are handled according to food safety and hygiene standards.

2. Catering Operations

• Deliver catering food, equipment, tables, chairs, tents, utensils, and other event materials.
• Assist the catering team with loading, unloading, and setting up equipment when required.
• Collect all catering equipment after events and return them to the company safely.
• Ensure all catering items are accounted for before leaving the event location.

3. Vehicle Maintenance

• Conduct daily vehicle inspections before starting work, including:
• Engine oil
• Brake system
• Tyres
• Battery
• Lights
• Water and coolant
• Fuel level
• Keep the lorry clean inside and outside.
• Report any vehicle defects, accidents, or maintenance issues immediately.
• Ensure all road tax, insurance, and vehicle documents are valid and available.

4. Safety & Compliance

• Drive safely and comply with all road traffic laws and company policies.
• Maintain a valid GDL driving licence at all times.
• Do not use a mobile phone while driving unless using a hands-free device.
• Never drive under the influence of alcohol or prohibited drugs.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and occupational safety procedures.
• Wear the required company uniform and personal protective equipment (PPE).

5. Team Support

• Assist in warehouse, store, or kitchen operations when there are no delivery assignments.
• Help with stock loading, unloading, inventory movement, and housekeeping.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
