Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Finance
- Handle the full set of accounts, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), Profit & Loss (P&L), and Balance Sheet.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, bank reconciliations, and supporting schedules in a timely manner.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Maintain and manage the company's fixed asset register, including asset acquisition, tagging, movement tracking, maintenance, servicing, and disposal.
- Process asset depreciation entries and perform regular reconciliation of fixed assets.
- Monitor cash flow, account balances, and financial transactions.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, company secretaries, and relevant government authorities.
- Handle tax-related matters, including SST submissions, tax computations, statutory compliance, and audit preparations.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers regarding procurement, repairs, maintenance, and asset-related matters.
Administration & Office Management
- Perform general administrative duties, including document management and filing
- Support management in coordinating meetings, travel arrangements, logistics, and business correspondence.
- Manage company licenses, permits, insurance renewals, and statutory submissions.
- Maintain proper records and documentation to support business operations and compliance requirements.
- Assist with special projects and ad-hoc assignments as directed by management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Singapore GST regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience working in manufacturing, engineering, or project-based industries will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge on Microsoft Navision is an added advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or audit.
- Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and statutory compliance.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
