Job Summary

Prosegur Singapore is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service and Maintenance Supervisor to lead our technical team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in security systems and a proven ability to manage and motivate a team of technicians and engineers. This role is crucial in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our clients' security systems through effective installation, maintenance, and repair.

Responsibilities

• Team Supervision: Supervise and guide a team of technicians and engineers responsible for the installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of a diverse range of security systems.
• Preventive Maintenance: Ensure that all customer security systems are properly maintained on a regular basis. This includes planning, scheduling, and overseeing routine checks, comprehensive inspections, and proactive preventive maintenance activities to guarantee peak operational performance.
• Fault Diagnosis and Repair: Provide expert support in diagnosing and repairing faults within customer security systems. This involves leading troubleshooting efforts, conducting thorough testing, and executing repairs for any equipment or software malfunctions that may arise.
• Spare Parts and Inventory Management: Manage and maintain the department's inventory of spare parts and equipment. This includes accurately tracking stock levels, ensuring the availability of necessary parts for timely service delivery, and managing the procurement process for new parts, subject to Manager approval.
• Technical Support: Act as a primary point of escalation for complex technical issues, providing guidance and solutions to the service team.
• Client Relations: Maintain positive relationships with clients by ensuring high-quality service delivery and timely resolution of issues.
• Reporting: Prepare regular reports on team performance, maintenance activities, equipment status, and inventory levels for management review.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve maintenance procedures, service delivery efficiency, and team productivity.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance and installation activities adhere to safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in a service and maintenance role, preferably within the security systems industry.
• Proven experience in supervising technical teams.
• Strong technical knowledge of various security systems (e.g., CCTV, access control, alarm systems, intrusion detection).
• Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting complex technical issues.
• Experience with inventory management and spare parts control.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• A formal qualification in Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field is highly desirable.
