Job Description

Responsibilities

We are partnering with a leading global financial institution to find a Data Center Manager to oversee critical infrastructure for their International Asia operations.


Our client operates a highly dynamic, Agile-driven engineering environment. This role goes beyond traditional infrastructure maintenance; it requires taking full accountability for regional data center operations, facility management, and digital architecture strategy within an iterative, cross-functional setting.


Key Responsibilities

  • Data Center Operations: Oversee all technical operations, facility management, and environmental monitoring to ensure uninterrupted service and optimal facility health.
  • Infrastructure Reliability: Ensure high availability, performance, and strict security compliance for critical enterprise IT systems, applications, and hosted services.
  • Vendor & Financial Management: Direct relationships with external vendors and service providers, ensuring strict adherence to SLAs while actively managing the data center budget and driving cost efficiencies.
  • Risk & Business Continuity: Coordinate Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) protocols, execute regular system audits, and enforce compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Agile Engineering & Strategy: Operate autonomously within a cross-functional squad to streamline process organization, implement forward-looking digital strategies, and champion innovative technology adoption.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in Data Center Operations, IT Infrastructure, or Facility Management, preferably within enterprise-grade or highly regulated sectors.
  • Strong technical command of data center environments, encompassing power, cooling, and hardware lifecycle management.
  • Proven commercial acumen, with demonstrated experience in managing IT budgets, vendor contracts, and hardware procurement.
  • An Agile mindset with a strong focus on continuous improvement, collaborative problem-solving, and quality assurance.
  • A relevant University degree or equivalent professional tech certifications.
