Job Purpose

• To support the implementation, monitoring and continual improvement of the KJTS's Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) Management System while ensuring compliance with applicable legal, customer and company requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor QHSE policies, procedures and safe work practices while ensuring compliance with applicable legal, environmental and ISO management system requirements.
• Conduct HIRARC, site inspections, safety audits and incident investigations and monitor corrective and preventive actions to minimise workplace risks.
• Coordinate QHSE training, toolbox talks, safety awareness programmes, emergency response drills and maintain employee competency records.
• Maintain QHSE documentation, prepare reports and KPI updates, promote a positive safety culture and support continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.

Requirements

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Degree in Safety & Health Management or relevant qualification.
• 3-5 years of experience in the related industry.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

• Knowledge in OSHA Act, EQA, FMA and ISO management systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); knowledge of maintenance tracking systems is a plus.
• Able to multitask and prioritize technical and administrative responsibilities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative in resolving issues.
