Responsibilities :

• Deliver on site occupational safety & health services and continuously work towards a preventive health care program for all employees in the company.
• To promote healthy lifestyle or way to stay health (regular occupational & health program).
• Verify the first aids box inspection activity and keep the checklist record.
• Verify the chemical store inspection activity and keep the checklist record.
• To take immediate action for all emergency or industrial accident case.
• Report the details of injuries from the accident & illness and prepare the report to internal management and DOSH.
• Evaluates the hazards, health risks and environmental impact from the company facility.
• Develops inspection policies and establishes regular inspection schedules.
• To conduct and arrange briefing or training regarding safety and health related with the company activities.
• Conduct the safety, health and emergency preparedness introduction to new OPS staff.
• Conduct the safety, health and emergency preparedness briefing to the new service contractors.
• Lead the ERT team and Safety and Health committee activities e.g routine safety inspection, arrangement related training, emergency drill activity, etc.
• Monitor, evaluates, manage and comply all the legal and other requirement related with safety and health.
• Monitors professional literature and attends seminars to stay current with governmental compliance requirements.
• To undertake any other duties or projects relating to Safety, Health & Environment issues as assigned your superior as deemed necessary and appropriate from time to time.

Qualifications :

• At least Diploma or Degree in any Environmental Science, Occupational Safety and Health, certified OSH Coordinator

Skills or Experiences :

• At least 1-2 years of working experience in the related field.
• Familiar with Factories and Machinery Act 1967, Environmental Quality Act and Occupational Safety and Health 1994
• Good interpersonal, communication and leadership skill
• Ability to work in team
• Good knowledge in ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001
