Role Description As a Junior Software Engineer at CrewRun, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of back-end and Front-end services and applications. You will write clean, testable code, assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, and participate in code reviews to learn best practices and improve code quality. You will collaborate closely with senior engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and implement features that meet business and user needs. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore, where you will work with a cross-functional team in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
  • Skills in Software Development and Programming with at least one modern programming language JavaScript.
  • Experience or coursework in Back-End Web Development, including APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
  • Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and ability to apply them in practical projects.
  • Ability to learn quickly, follow engineering best practices, and work effectively in a team setting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and basic software development lifecycle practices.
  • Good communication skills and a proactive attitude toward problem-solving and continuous learning.
