Role Description The Clinic Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur. This role supports day-to-day operations of the clinic, including welcoming patients, managing reception duties, and handling phone calls and appointment scheduling. The Clinic Assistant assists with basic patient care tasks under guidance, helps maintain accurate records, and ensures that consultation and treatment areas are clean, organized, and ready for use. The position includes coordinating patient flow, supporting medical staff with administrative and clinical tasks, and providing clear information to patients about clinic procedures. The Clinic Assistant is expected to deliver courteous, efficient service and uphold patient confidentiality and safety standards at all times.


Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and clinical staff.
  • Candidates should possess Receptionist Duties experience, including front desk operations, appointment scheduling, and handling phone and in-person inquiries.
  • Candidates should possess knowledge of Medical Terminology to support accurate documentation and effective communication with healthcare professionals.
  • Candidates should possess abilities in Patient Care, including assisting with basic clinical tasks, supporting patient comfort, and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Candidates should possess basic computer and administrative skills, including data entry, use of medical or booking systems, and record keeping.
  • Candidates should possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Prior experience in a clinic, hospital, or healthcare setting is beneficial; a relevant certificate or diploma in healthcare support or a related field is an advantage.
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a diverse team, demonstrate professionalism, and adhere to clinical safety and privacy standards.
