Job Description

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to establish and lead our IT function from the ground up. The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience tackling various hardware and software problems, providing technology solutions to employees, and working closely with third-party software companies to adopt new technologies and maximize efficiency. This role will oversee infrastructure, data security, ERP & AI system implementation (including DingTalk, Yonyou, Kingdee, or other AI-native platforms), and ensure seamless collaboration with Business Analysts and cross-functional teams.


Responsibilities:


Strategic IT Leadership

  • Develop and execute the IT roadmap aligned with OUS Group’s mining and trading operations.
  • Lead ERP deployment (Yonyou, Kingdee, Dingjie Digital, SAP) and integrate with DingTalk/Feishu.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts to design workflows, reporting dashboards, and compliance modules.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate technology contracts, and oversee adoption of new technologies.
  • Recruit and train IT team members as the department scales.


Foundational IT Setup

  • Procure, configure, and manage laptops, desktops, and mobile devices for staff.
  • Establish secure networking (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN) across offices and mining sites.
  • Set up centralized storage solutions (cloud & on-premise) with backup and disaster recovery.
  • Implement IT asset management, inventory tracking, and helpdesk support.


Cybersecurity & Compliance

  • Control and monitor data, network access, and backup systems.
  • Develop and enforce IT security policies, firewalls, and endpoint protection.
  • Ensure compliance with MPERS and data protection regulations.
  • Monitor system access, audit logs, and incident response protocols.


Technical Support & Vendor Management

  • Provide troubleshooting and technical support for hardware and software issues.
  • Negotiate and communicate with third-party software providers for new solutions and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure employees have up-to-date technology tools and systems.


Reporting & Analytics

  • Build IT reporting frameworks for system performance, security incidents, and ERP usage.
  • Provide management with dashboards and insights for decision-making.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant field
  • 5+ years of experience in related field
  • Experience in information technology space and solving various software and hardware problems
  • Strong technical problem solving and communication skills
