Desktop Service Engineer (System Engineer)

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Contract Duration: 1 Year (Extendable)

Years of experience : Junior level - minimum 3 years

Industry: Insurance

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop engineering systems associated with physical products.

Define system functionality, architecture, and integration requirements.

Perform system simulations, testing, and validation activities.

Manage feature implementation and support engineering design activities.

Conduct Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA).

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful system integration.

Prepare and maintain technical documentation and engineering reports.

Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.

Stay current with industry trends and engineering best practices.

Required Skills

Strong technical writing and documentation skills.

Experience in systems engineering and system integration.

Knowledge of engineering validation, testing, and design methodologies.

Ability to work independently and solve complex technical problems.

Strong analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of Controller Area Network (CAN).

Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).

Experience performing DFMEA.

Experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers.
