Responsibilities

• Source and secure prospective tenants through canvassing, cold calling, networking, and market outreach activities.
• Manage the end-to-end leasing process, including lead generation, negotiation, documentation, lease execution, and tenant handover.
• Achieve leasing targets, occupancy objectives, and rental revenue goals in line with company strategy.
• Support tenant mix planning by identifying suitable brands, concepts, and categories for the property.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to monitor industry trends, rental benchmarks, and leasing opportunities.
• Prepare regular leasing reports covering prospect pipelines, negotiation updates, occupancy performance, and market feedback.
• Manage lease renewals, tenancy expiries, and tenant retention initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective tenants.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth leasing documentation, tenant onboarding, and handover processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Marketing, Real Estate, Property Management, Retail Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in leasing, retail leasing, commercial property, real estate, or property management.
• Strong retail contacts and good networking ability within the retail or commercial leasing industry.
• Good understanding of leasing processes, tenancy agreements, tenant mix planning, rental negotiations, and occupancy management.
• Strong commercial acumen, analytical ability, and market awareness.
• Good interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines.
• Experience with leasing or property management systems will be an added advantage.
