Position Summary
Oversee Technical Services Onboard Services team in its role of providing in-service support, focussing primarily on cabin technical standards, appearance, and onboard technical publications management.
The position holder will manage the performance, career development, and welfare of up to x5 tech services personnel. The OBS manager will ensure all Technical Services functions relating his/her area are delivered to the highest standards. Ensuring regulatory compliance, safety, and airworthiness at all times is a non-negotiable within Malaysian Airlines CAMO, and the position holder will play an important role in this.

Position Summary

Key Accountabilities
- Be accountable for the technical standards and condition of all passenger touchpoints on board MAB fleet
- Own the MAB Cabin Standards Manual and coordinate vendors and other stakeholders to support delivery of MAB’s customer value proposition
- Ensure onboard technical publications are at the latest revision
- Maintain close links with technical services, flight operations, and customer experience development functions
- Maintain a strong awareness of all operational issues including AOGs and ensure required engineering support is provided
- Engage closely with Customer Experience and Customer Relations and ensure their concerns and queries are managed and their feedback is factored into cabin maintenance strategy
- Degree in engineering from an internationally recognised university is essential
- 10 years of working experience, including minimum 5 years of Technical Services experience
- Aircraft maintenance engineer background is desirable
- Must possess an understanding of company procedures.
- Must possess an understanding of Part-145 and Part-M.
- Ensuring timely support delivered to the highest quality
- Coordinating vendors
- Maintaining the team’s performance
