Our client, a well-established and leading healthcare retail organization where you'll lead end-to-end supply chain operations across planning, inventory, logistics, and supplier management. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced supply chain leader to drive operational excellence, spearhead transformation initiatives, and make a significant impact in a fast-paced, customer-centric business. Approximately 20%-30% Travelling Required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end supply chain operations, including demand planning, inventory management, logistics, warehousing, and distribution to ensure product availability and operational efficiency.
- Develop demand forecasts and inventory strategies in collaboration with Merchandising, Sales, and Retail Operations to optimize stock levels, minimize stock-outs, and reduce excess inventory.
- Manage third-party logistics (3PL) providers, warehouses, transportation partners, and distribution activities to achieve On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery and service level targets.
- Build and manage relationships with suppliers and logistics partners, negotiate service agreements, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvements in quality, cost, and service.
- Monitor supply chain performance, analyze key metrics, identify operational improvement opportunities, and implement initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost effectiveness.
- Oversee supply chain budgets, transportation and warehousing costs, inventory investment, and working capital while delivering sustainable cost optimization initiatives.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks by developing contingency plans for supplier disruptions, logistics challenges, peak trading periods, and business continuity requirements.
- Lead, coach, and develop the supply chain team while fostering strong cross-functional collaboration with Commercial, Finance, Procurement, and Retail Operations to support business objectives.
Key Requirements:
- Degree or Master’s in Supply Chain, Logistics, Supply Management, Demand Management, or Operational Management.
- 8-10 years in logistics, including managing 3PL operations, warehousing, and distribution.
- Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
- Proficient in analytical skills, problem-solving, and decision-making.
- Good leadership qualities.
- Computer literate, with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel).
