About Job

• Impactful Leadership: Provide hands-on technical guidance and drive daily execution for an agile, talented team of machine learning specialists.

• Scalable Architecture: Partner closely with engineers to design, optimize, and scale production-grade ML models and pipelines on the public cloud.

• Cross-Functional Synergy: Bridge the gap between research, engineering, and product teams to translate business vision into high-performing deliverables.

• Talent Empowerment: Actively build, mentor, and grow a best-in-class engineering culture while managing core departmental resources.

• Cutting-Edge Delivery: Oversee end-to-end software product shipping, prioritizing performance optimization and robust system testing.

• Strategic Visibility: Track and report on engineering velocity, system health, and infrastructure performance directly to senior leadership.

Skills and Requirements

• Education: Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• Proven Track Record: 8+ years of experience building and deploying successful machine learning software applications at scale.

• Leadership Experience: 3+ years of direct people management experience steering software and ML engineering professionals.

• Cloud Infrastructure: Strong proficiency architecting and launching complex ML applications within public cloud environments (Azure preferred).

• MLOps Core: Deep understanding of modern MLOps practices, automated data pipelines, and continuous integration (CI/CD) workflows.

• Engineering Standards: Strong grasp of robust software development practices, including Git/GitHub version control, test automation, and code reviews
