Julian Grey’s client is an established engineering consultancy providing professional M&E consulting services for building projects across various sectors.
Responsibilities
- Design mechanical systems and services for building projects in accordance with project specifications and applicable standards.
- Prepare tender documentation, manage tender exercises, evaluate submissions and support recommendations for contract awards.
- Prepare plans and technical documents for authority submissions and liaise with relevant regulatory agencies.
- Coordinate with engineers and designers to complete assigned deliverables within project timelines.
- Attend project meetings and liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers.
- Develop project scopes and detailed work plans and obtain client approval at key project stages.
- Coordinate and supervise the installation, testing and commissioning of mechanical building services, including site supervision activities.
- Monitor project progress, provide regular status updates and undertake other project-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised institution.
- Minimum3 years of experience in mechanical design, site supervision and project implementation.
- Experience in an engineering consultancy is preferred, with knowledge of the building or construction industry.
- Independent, self-motivated and able to work effectively both individually and as part of a project team.
