Job Description

Responsibilities

The IT Executive is responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and support of the company's IT infrastructure, systems, software, security and end-user devices. This role covers a broad range of IT functions including helpdesk support, network and hardware/software procurement, vendor coordination, and IT asset management. The ideal candidate is a hands-on generalist who is comfortable troubleshooting technical issues, liaising with vendors, and supporting general IT administrative tasks. Maintain documentation on all IT assets updates and others documentation like asset transfer, budget transfer and etc.

Key Responsibilities

•       Provide first- and second-level IT support (helpdesk) to end users, including troubleshooting hardware, software, printer, email, and network connectivity issues.

•       Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other IT peripherals.

•       Administer and maintain the company's network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, Wi-Fi access points, and Internet lines.

•       Set up and support remote access, VPN, and remote desktop/support tools for staff working off-site.

•       Monitor systems and backups to ensure data integrity, uptime, and business continuity; escalate and resolve incidents promptly.

•       Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for hardware/software procurement, warranty claims, repairs, and maintenance contracts.

•       Maintain accurate records of IT assets, licenses, warranties, and service contracts; assist with budgeting for IT purchases.

•       Ensure compliance with IT security policies, data protection requirements, and software licensing regulations.

•       Support onboarding/offboarding of staff (equipment setup, outlook setup, Microsoft Office 365 setup, Teams, Onedrive, join domain, setup printing/scanning profile ).

Requirements & Qualifications

•       Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

•       2 years of relevant experience in IT support, systems administration, or a similar generalist IT role. Fresh Graduate also welcome.

•       Solid working knowledge of Windows/macOS operating systems, Microsoft 365, and common office software.

•       Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) and basic network hardware (switches, routers, firewalls).

•       Experience with remote support/remote desktop tools (e.g., TeamViewer, RDP) is a plus.

•       Good understanding of IT security best practices, antivirus/endpoint protection, and data backup procedures.

•       Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently and under time pressure.

•       Good communication and interpersonal skills to support non-technical staff and coordinate with external vendors.

•       Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks/priorities with minimal supervision.

•       Willing to provide occasional after-hours or on-call support for urgent IT issues.
